Uk President Of Bt Global Services Appointed Ceo Of Azzurri Communications Following Successful Search By Korn/ferry Whitehead Mann
 
Korn/Ferry Whitehead Mann has led the search for a CEO for Azzurri Communications Ltd, a leading independent provider of managed communications services. Mark Quartermaine, UK President of BT Global Services, has accepted the position and will start shortly.



Mark joined BT Global Services in October 2005, taking responsibility for their large enterprise customer set, before heading up the public sector business from 2007 and subsequently running the whole £3bn UK revenue line.



Sean Arnold, Senior Client Partner at Korn/Ferry Whitehead Mann who handled the search for Azzurri, commented: ‘Mark Quartermaine has had a very successful career at BT and has the full set of skills and qualities to lead Azzurri, having also had senior roles at IBM, NSB Retail Solutions and Cable & Wireless. His appointment is evidence of Azzurri's ambitions for growth and expansion.”



Azzurri Communications, formed in 2000, is a private-equity owned company. It is headquartered in the UK, delivering flexible voice, data and mobile communications at every level to customers in 130 countries. Azzurri customers include Bupa, Severn Trent Water and STA Travel.
