What is Connect-World?

Connect-World also publishes a yearly Global issue, as well as special editions to commemorate special events, shows and exhibitions, e.g. the WSIS in Tunisia, in November 2005.

The world's top decision makers write Connect-World articles. They discuss in clear, non-technical English, how ICT helps shape regional and global development. Essentially, the articles discuss how changes in ICT technology impact on how people live and do business.

Over 22,000 copies of Connect-World are delivered to the desks of the top decision-makers of leading international companies, telecom ministries, regulatory agencies, carriers, equipment manufacturers, satellite companies and their advisors.

Trade Shows/ Sponsors

Connect-World is also a major sponsor of leading trade shows globally and regionally such as ITU Telecom, Broadband World Forum, SuperComm, CommunicAsia, Mobile World Congress, CTIA, IBC Amsterdam, NAB, Futurecom and many others.

Connect-World is now approaching its 13th anniversary despite the challenges faced by the Telecom Industry since the .com era meltdown.

The publication commenced life as a quarterly regional magazine for the Latin American market, in 1996. Originally published in tri-lingual format (English, Portuguese and Spanish), to assist decision makers better understand the effects of Liberalisation, the publication has grown and developed globally to anticipate and discuss the trends in the ICT industry.

The publication initially progressed to cover other developing regions, such as Asia-Pacific, Africa & the Middle East and Eastern Europe. However, with the accession of ten former Eastern countries migrating to the EU, this former Eastern Europe issue has now evolved into a Europe edition. Due to demand from our readers, we were encouraged to launch a North American issue, which completed our global presence in June 2005.

The magazine is a major sponsor of most leading trade shows regionally/globally. Where the magazine is not a sponsor, a representative from the magazine is still normally in attendance.
